Can a Cingular phone be used for US Cellular if it is unblocked?
I have a motorola razor that my boyfriend use to have from cingular. I have US Cellular but if I bring it in can they unlock the service? I have a really bad phone right now so hopefully your answers are good!

No, USCC used CDMA while Cingular uses GSM. Two different types of technology.
You should be able to as long as both phones use the same service type, GSM for instance. If your boyfriends phone is not in service now, that would be easier. There is a Really good website below that explains the different types of service well. It has interesting links too! Check it out!
