It is possible, but you may as well give up now, because you’re not likely going to find someone who is willing to go through the touble I’m about to list off:

Find someone who is VERY familiar with the firmware of that specific phone (someone who makes homebrew games or applications, for example) and have them learn all about WinAPI.

Then have them use Microsoft Visual Studio 9 (a nice free download for all you programmers out there), along with their recently gained knowledge of WinAPI, to write up a Specific BlueTooth Driver for your phone.

Once that’s done, they’ll need to create the device class in Microsoft Visual Studio, as well as a program to control the driver and device.

Once ALL OF THIS EXTREMELY TECHNICAL STUFF IS DONE: They can implement all of it on your PC and phone, and plug it up and go.

So lets see… If you asked me, as a computer programmer to go through this amazing ammount of trouble, I’d probably bill you $2,800 or more. That’s a pretty good deal, but if I were you, I’d spend $10 and get a USB Bluetooth adapter such as this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Wireless-100M-V2-0-2-4G-Bluetooth-USB-Adaptor-Dongle-US_W0QQitemZ140242337897QQihZ004QQcategoryZ41993QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I don’t believe that you can…but I know for a fact that you can use either one as a modem to access the Internet if you have AT&T service. I’m not sure about the other providers.

Make sure you have a plan that allows for the data transfer to the Internet…there was a story not long ago about a guy who had bought unlimited Internet access on his phone…he thought that covered the ‘tethered’ access from his PC. It did not…he ended up with a $10,000 phone bill for one month. I don’t think he had to pay the whole thing, but I’m pretty sure he still had to pay over $1000. That’s a costly mistake.
