Can you use Motorola Phone Tools (MPT) to transfer ringtones to your cell phone?
I have a couple of shortened mp3's and Motorola Phone Tools on my computer. I was wondering if I could use that program to transfer the mp3's and turn them into ringtones on a Motorola RAZR v3. (I don't have the phone yet)

Not if you’ve got Verizon. Verizon has pretty much locked the phone down. In that case you could upload from a site like:
http://www.funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/uploadRingtone.php
yes, depending on who your provider is determines how easy it is. if you’re with verizon, it CAN be done, it’s just very difficult. i just spent a week or so trying to get it to work. but if you’re patient and know where to look, it most definitely can be done.
