can you use old verizon phones on a new verizon plan?
I am adding one of my kids to my verizon wireless plan, and i was given a fairly new but used verizon phone by my sister-in-law. when i add my child to the plan will they allow me to use the old phone, or will i have to buy a new phone?

You can add your child to your plan. It would be $9.99 to do it. Then you can use whatever Verizon phone you want. You can even activate it online, call customer care or do it in the store. To do it online just go to verizon web site & click the support tab. Under phone & devices click "activate phone"
