Does the unlocked cellphones in America work in other contries such as Viet Nam?

I'm using an unlocked Sony Ericsson K750i in America, I'm wondering I can use it in my country (Viet Nam) or not?

   Is it a tri band phone? If so should be no problem as far as I know.
