How much is a used unlocked 8gb apple iphone worth?

I know its crazy, but I've been wanting an unlocked iphone for a while. Can anyone suggest a reasonable price?

   well the 3g one? if so prob like 600 maybe 700 but if its the old one u can prob get it really cheap.

   what do you mean by unlocked? Well, a new iPhone is around $500 (including tax), so I imagine a used iPhone will be about half the price- ~$300ish? Sorry, idk what you mean by unlicked iPhone is.
