I bought a us cellular phone from my friend but there is no place for my us cellular sim card.?
It is a blackberry pearl and when i go to the main screen it shows a number where it says "my number" so basically a sim card or something is in there but there is no slot for it so its like its programmed like that. Can i take it up to us cellular and have them switch it over to my plan because someone said that they dont use the cdma cards even now

I am a bit confused by your question, as the person above correctly said, US Cellular does not use sim cards, but in your question, you say you have a US Cellular sim card?
I am going to guess that you have US Cellular service and your freind gave you a US Cellular branded phone, if this is the case then here is what you have to do
1) Have your friend call US Cellular and have him clear the phones ESN#. Once your freind has them clear the ESN#, then you have to call US Cellular and have them deactivate your old phone and add this new phone to your acount. If he doesnt clear the ESN# for you, you will never be able to use it
Ok, now I’m confused… do you have US Cellular as your carrier AND your phone is a US Cellular Phone? If so, yes…you can activate it. Don’t call in though. Go to a store so they can program it for you when they do the esn change. BB programming is a bit involved…
ask to your mobile operator;-)
