I want to surf the internet using Nokia cell phone with a prepaid sim card.
Is it possible?
and If it is impossible, please tell me how to get a internet connection with mobile devices...

    I have a motorola prepaid cell from Cingular, and I can get online with it (and mine has a SIM card also). This is how I do it
    Menu/ settings / web access / Go to URL , and then type in a web site. and by the way it does cost alot. With my phone it takes minutes. So beware. hope this helps.

    simple…which prepaid did you use? call your service provider to get a setting for your nokia cell phone. then when you receive a setting, save it to your nokia and it ready to surf internet.

    Depending on what type of nokie you have bought the answer is yes. 95% of Nokia mobile Phones are WAP enabled which means you are able to surf the net. All you need to do is call your service provider to send you the settings to fully enable this service.

    Although you can surf the net on your mobile i would strongly NOT recommend that you use your mobile to surf the net as service providers charge extremely high rates for using the service.

    Usually they charge per Kb. (kilobyte). My service provider charges me 2.2cents per Kb i download. So if i was to visit my hotmail account and it was about 30kb worth of download i would have to pay more than 60cents just to get to the log in page. From there once i log in it costs me another 60cents to view all the subjects of my emails i have received, and then from there i then have to open up the email so depending on what is contained in the email i could be paying anywhere for 10cents up to $1-$2. So just to look at one email it has cost me around $3.20.

    This is why i would not recommend you browse the internet on your mobile. Legally your service provider has to give you a list of all the costs involved in regards to surfing the net on your mobile, so just ask them if you arent already aware of the costs.

    That is possible. But it costs a little high. At first, you make sure your Nokia phone has the up-to-date function connecting to telecom network and Internet at the same time. That is so called ‘double mode phone’.Then, if you need a US prepaid sim card, you call the providers to make clear that whether their prepaid sim for US include with internet service.
