txt messaging and smartphones?
instead of using the built in text, cant you just use an IM service or twitter through the internet, which would save u the a month text plan?

In your phone (well @ least in all my past phones & current one) there should be a IM application, or you can download it from the provider’s website thru ur cell, and you should be able to IM anyone that is already in ur contact list.
Yeah, sure, but you have to pay for a data plan.
Frankly, I agree with you, but we have a family plan and my daughter texts like there’s no tomorrow. Cheaper for me to pay for the unlimited text.
not really! using your IM on your phone requires a data plan or a messaging package!
if you are planning to use IM, i suggest you get the unlimited text plan!
