Used Verizon Phones

Following the merger of GTE and Bell Atlantic it was one of, if not the biggest wireless companies in the world.  Then a AT&T was purchased by Cingular.  At the beginning of 2009 Alltel purchased Cingular and verizon was born again as the world's biggest wireless organization.  For the fiscal year 2007 Verizon had the biggest cash flow of all wireless organizations in the USA and serviced almost 290,000,000 customers.  The result has created a massive market for used Verizon phones.

This company stayed close to its ideals of making the best Wireless Network available to its customers'and has worked very hard to be close allies, and partners with the biggest and best in the business.  Cell phone companies like LG, Samsung, Motorola, Palm and Sony Ericsson look very closely to verizon for direction on its latest product releases.  For example the VZ navigator was one of the first phones to include a GPS capability from Verizon.  How this worked was using cell phone tower signals in place of the usual GPS data that was available from satellites.  This created, in a fact, a stand-alone GPS capability in the VZ navigator.  Other great features allowed Verizon customers to easily find a business or restaurant through its intuitive business or category name interface.  A customer could simply type in an address and then get specific dirctions for their queried destination.  Phones that Verizon has been very successful selling include the blackberry storm 9530, the Motorola Krave ZN4, the LG Dare, the Palm Centro, the HTC Touch, the Blackberry Pearl and the Samsung Omnia.

It is important to keep in mind that Verizon phones do not use a SIM card.  Instead they use CDMA Technology.  However, it is important to remember that these can still be purchased and sold in the used market.  All you need to do with a used for eyes and phone [if it is not locked], is reprogram it manually, or go to another cell phone service provider.  The most popular thing to do is get on a preferred roaming list also known as [PRL], which will need to have that information loaded onto the the device before using it.  As a result buying or selling a verizon phone is actually easier than many other phones.  In addition if you can get yourself an unlimited talk service plan, buying a used for Verizon phone is a great idea and will reduce your cost of ownership.  This is one of the many reasons we think that a used Verizon cell phone is a great idea for other people in your business, family, or your children.
