what age is best for kids to start using cellphones?
i heard it is harmfull for kids to use cellphones,what age is a good to start having mobile phones for them?

When their responsible enough to know how to handle their minutes and not go over. When they understand the concept of how money works and you have to pay the bill.
WHen the kid starts going places on thier own Such as using public transportation to go to a friends house, mall etc Also good if the child is into after school activities
7th grade
they start detaching themselve from their parents at this age
They should have one when they’re about 16…….maybe 15
You dont really need a cell phone in middle school because all that’s useful is maybe calling home (which they can do in the office).
Plus they might text (which is highly expensive and that’s why you must wait until they’re more mature)
Also, most schools dont like having cell phones at school because they can distrub class or the phone is lost/stolen which causes mayhem everywhere
Or…..when they understand how bills work and how to make a budget for themselves….
my mom gave me a cellphone when i was about 13-14 y/o.. ask him/her if he/she can handle such important things now and give him a chance to prove it..
